How its made?
At Mudhome, we take pride in our traditional process of creating dry beef meat. Starting with carefully selected premium quality beef, we ensure that all excess fat is removed, and the meat is thoroughly washed to eliminate any traces of blood. We then marinate it with a blend of salt, turmeric, and a hint of black pepper powder, allowing the flavors to infuse for an hour. The meat is then slowly dried using our traditional wood-fired dryer, ensuring a smoky and authentic taste. Finally, we seal the meat in airtight packaging, preserving its freshness and guaranteeing a delightful culinary experience.
Method 1: To create a mouthwatering dish, mince or crush the dry beef initially, simply fry the crushed meat in coconut oil with red chilli flakes, black pepper, ginger, garlic, and curry leaves. As the meat is pre-salted, adjust for your taste.
Method 2: Pressure cook the dried beef with water until it whistles 4-5 times, then mince using a blender. In hot coconut oil, sauté shallots, red chili flakes, black pepper, curry leaves, garlic, and ginger until brown. Add the minced beef and adjust the salt to your liking. Cook until crispy.
