How its made?
At Mudhome, crafting our Meat Puttupodi begins with locally sourced beef meat. We carefully remove all fat content from the meat and ensure thorough washing to remove any traces of blood. The beef is then seasoned with a harmonious blend of black pepper, turmeric, and salt, infusing it with rich flavor. Using our state-of-the-art dryer, we carefully dry the seasoned beef to perfection.
Simultaneously, we select and prepare fine white rice, steaming it before drying and powdering it to achieve the perfect puttu consistency. Bringing together the seasoned beef and rice flour, we blend them with a symphony of spices, including dried tomato, ginger, and garlic. The result? A tantalizing Kerala beef puttupodi that promises to delight your palate with every bite.

In my opinion, it is a variety puttu powder, i just did it like the same traditional puttu. the taste is nice and we can feel the beef taste. Its not same as the fresh meat puttu, but it is good. All ingredients are dried. A must try item, especially my kids loved it.
