How its made?
Creating our delightful Mudhome® Gooseberry Pickle is a step-by-step journey filled with care and flavor. We start with the finest, fresh gooseberries, making sure they're clean and fresh. After a good wash and wipe, we move on to the secret ingredient – cold-pressed black sesame seed oil, adding a unique taste.
The process continues with steaming the gooseberries and taking out their seeds for a smooth texture. In a separate mix, we sauté green chillies, garlic, ginger, and curry leaves until they turn a rich, golden brown. Then comes a blend of red chilli and Kashmiri chilli paste, bringing in just the right amount of heat and color.
The gooseberry pieces join this flavorful mix, simmering gently over low heat. We add a carefully measured mix of hot water, vinegar, and salt. Turning up the heat, the concoction bubbles and melds to perfection. Finally, mustard and fenugreek powder, along with a touch of asafoetida, complete the transformation into our tasty Mudhome® Gooseberry Pickle.
